The Droid icons are smooth, easy to identitfy and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a relatively nice presentation that allows for ease in comprehensionIt used to be, you had 3 to 5 icons on your cell phone to tell you everything that is occuring with your cellular world. Nowadays there is plenitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there's a call on hold, new voicemail or new e-mail message. You will know if there's a problem with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if data is syncing or if a song is playing on your telephone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, simple to identify and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice presentation that allows for ease in comprehension. The Droid desires this level of icons as it does so much. It has got an airplane mode where wireless services are mechanically set to off. All these icons are show in the status bar on the pinnacle of the Droid. Of course, you get the usual icons, but there are also icons for pending Notifications and Messages. This suggests that all of the calls, SMS messages and new emails are all shown in this section. They'll be there until you look after them. This is great for when you're away from your cell telephone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it does give you masses of icons and a green blinking light that will turn on the standing bar so you can look after any pending actions that are shown by the various icon notices. All you need to do then is activate your Droid and touch the explicit icon that fits with an action. You can then sort it. For as cool as the Droid is, often it needs to be rebooted. You can say when this is occurring when the see though wheel icon starts spinning non stop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are different types icons for diverse services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easily read and pretty clear cut. ![]()
