The Droid icons are smooth, simple to identitfy and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice show that allows for ease in comprehensionIt used to be, you had three to five icons on your mobile telephone to tell you everything that's happening with your cellular world. These days there is plenitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there's a call on hold, new voicemail or new email message. You will know if there's an issue with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if data is syncing or if a song is playing on your telephone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identify and tend to convey what they mean in a relatively nice show that allows for ease in understanding. The Droid desires this level of icons because it does so much. It's got an airplane mode where wireless services are mechanically set to off. All these icons are show in the status bar on the pinnacle of the Droid. Naturally, you get the usual icons, but there are also icons for outstanding Notifications and Messages. This means that all of the calls, SMS messages and new emails are all shown in this section. They're going to be there until you take care of them. This is great for when you're away from your mobile phone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it is doing give you plenty of icons and a green blinking light that will activate the status bar so you can look after any pending actions that are shown by the assorted icon notices. All that you need to do then is activate your Droid and touch the specific icon that fits with an action. You can then fix it. For as cool as the Droid is, sometimes it has to be rebooted. You can tell when this is occurring when the see though wheel icon starts spinning non stop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are different types icons for various services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easy-to-read and pretty clear cut. ![]()
