Why Do You Need to Use PNG Images in Your Web Design?
The pros of incorporating PNG image format in website designing over other file types such as GIF and JPEG; the image format helps to make better and spectacular images that will entice your visitorsThe PNG file format was introduced quite a while back; it was put forth in the market in 1995/96 to make up for the shortcomings of the popular GIF file format. However, it did not make an impression because the early browsers were not designed to support the progressive offerings of PNG so internet designers and developers were forced to incorporate it restrictedly. For example, if you make use of the JPG Format, you lose some of the information from the initial image every time the file is saved, so in time, you will notice a distinct decline in the quality of the images. Even though, this issue has now been sorted in GIF and you can store the pictures without compromising any details, GIF has a limited color palette of 256, which makes it quite useless if you are going to save a picture.
