Astronaut – Things To Know About An Astronaut
Whether you are into science and space world or not almost everyone know why astronauts travel to space making discoveries which are yet to be explored.Whenever a child sees a spacecraft on television, the first thing that he or she yells to you is that, I want to be an astronaut. It is true that being an astronaut is a fancy job. But in order to become an astronaut, you have to go through intense training. Usually people think that whoever flies in the space craft is an astronaut but that is not true because often scientists and other people travel in a space craft as well on different types of missions. So that is why not everyone is an astronaut because it is a person who pilots the spacecraft or serves as the crew member of the space craft.
Before the year 2003, the astronauts were only sponsored by governments or military and they were also trained by the governments or military as well to be an astronaut. In the same way, civilian space agencies also sponsored and trained astronauts to go into space. But after that, the whole concept of astronaut changed and being an astronaut sure does means that you will have to go through intense training in order to be eligible for becoming an astronaut. Since 19 September 2009, almost 505 people have reached 100 km or above 100 km altitude. These people belonged to 38 different countries from all over the world. There are many things that you must keep in mind if you are thinking about becoming an astronaut. If you really think that your kid has the potential to become an astronaut, then you must make sure that you raise them well and give them proper education that is necessary to become an astronaut.
Being a responsible parent also means that you help your kid to become what they want to be in life because if you support your kids like this, they will make you proud one day. It is important in life to know what you want to become and if you child knows it then you should support them. Being an astronaut may sound difficult but it is not impossible so you should never give up hope.
