The Golden Years For Pirate Men When They Used To Live A Life Of A King With No Fears And Care In Their Mind
The following article is about the golden period for pirate men, who used to rule the sea. And that was the time, when their life was full of luxuries and comforts.If you will look into the history, then you will come to know that there was a time, when the life of a pirate was full of luxuries and comforts. During the period of 1650-1720, the pirates were extremely active. They used to rob people, who transported good in the sea. The number of sea pirates was extremely high. And it was known as the Golden Age for each and every pirate. If you are looking forward to the big names of piracy, then you cannot avoid the names of Edward Teach, William Kidd, Jack Rackham and many others. At this point of time, piracy is not the same as it used to be in the past, but still the seas of South China are still entangled by the activities of pirates. Basically, a pirate is the one, who robs other by traveling across the sea. They are also known as corsairs.
Pirates were actually the ones, who used to conduct their operation in the Mediterranean Sea. On doing research on the pirates, we come to know that majority of them preferred to operate in the off the coast of America and in Caribbean Sea.
At the end of 15th century, it was Christopher Columbus, who had success in terms of building a contact between Europe and the regions, which are now called the states of America. He also searches a lot, in order to find out a short cut to reach the lands of east. Columbus was working for the king of Spain. This was the reason, why the new lands were given the name of Spanish territory. He founded that land to be blesses with gold and other precious gems. Christopher was a pirate of his own kind. He was a man of courage and determination. He sailed across the sea in the form of fleets, just for the sake of protection. That was the time, when majority of the attacks done by the pirates used to get success. The pirate ships had played vital role in giving success to each and every pirate. Those ships were huge in size as compared to the ordinary ships. In this way, the pirates used to outnumber the victims.
