The Droid icons are smooth, easy to identitfy and tend to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice presentation that allows for ease in understandingIt used to be, you had 3 to five icons on your mobile telephone to tell you everything that is happening with your cellular world. Nowadays there is amplitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there is a call on hold, new voicemail or new email message. You may know if there's a problem with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if data is syncing or if a song is playing on your telephone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, easy to identify and tend to convey what they mean in a relatively nice show that allows for ease in comprehension. The Droid desires this level of icons as it does so much. It even has an airplane mode where wireless services are mechanically set to off. All these icons are show in the status bar on the top of the Droid. Naturally, you get the common icons, but there are icons for outstanding Notifications and Messages. This suggests that all of the calls, texts and new emails are all shown in this section. They're going to be there until you take care of them. This is superb for when you are away from your mobile phone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it does give you lots of icons and a green blinking light that may turn on the standing bar so that you can look after any pending actions that are shown by the assorted icon notices. All that you need to do then is activate your Droid and touch the specific icon that fits with an action. You can then deal with it. For as cool as the Droid is, often it needs to be rebooted. You can say when this is occurring when the translucent wheel icon starts spinning non stop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are various types icons for diverse services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easy to read and pretty clear cut. ![]()
