Why Do You Need to Use PNG Image Format in Your Web Design?

Self Optimization is possible in PNG: One of the hurdles that web designers need to handle on a daily basis is the anomaly due to which the contrast and brightness of the commuter screen has to be regulated to see the the display properly; this problem occurs due to the difference in the Gamma setting used for the different monitors. Gamma is a technology used to spread the luminance across the monitor display. However, various operating systems use a variety of Gamma settings. So, an image that is color corrected specifically for Windows may not look right on a Mac. Once again, in this case the innovative PNG picture format comes to the rescue, in PNG, you can store the images with an inherent Gamma correction feature so regardless of the operating system; the Gamma settings will be changed on its own to show an image with the impressive ratios of contrast as well as brightness.
