One of my friends, Mr. Smith knew that dictophone use will save to it time, but to it sickened thought that he will talk to a wall. Whether it is necessary it to listen to the rational basis and to save time, or to the emotional beginning and to dictate the text to the secretary?Mr. Smith considered that he has solved a problem, having put on a table a photo of the secretary when it dictated the text. Now, when he slandered the text on a film, it seemed to it that before it the present person who then will reprint its speech. All went well up to that moment while his wife has not come into its office that together with it to go for a supper, and has found out on a desk of the husband a photo of its secretary. You can imagine, what thoughts were carried by in a head of Mr. Smith when it lifted from a floor of and photo scraps.
Probably that Mr. Smith would arrive better, if it has put on a desk a photo of the wife and other members of the family to remind itself(himself) where that money which he earned at the office leave.
The conflict between "it is necessary for me" and "it is necessary now"
It is difficult to resolve the conflict between long-term and short-term objectives. Whether it is necessary to you to make a today's supper or to begin preparations for a meeting of visitors in a weekend? That it is better: to water a lawn or to esteem the book about gardening?
When I was engaged in manufacture of nylon purses for footwear, I had a big blockage in affairs. To liquidate the outstanding orders to me it was required, at least, month, however a situation demanded, that the delay in performance of orders did not exceed one week. I have thought up the rational offer with which help it was possible to reduce half time of processing of each order, but it was required, at least, two months to master new system. Whether I should speak now to each visitor that it came behind the order only in two months? This term to me was necessary to enter new system into business. But in the meantime the collected debts will create a catastrophic situation. Or I should try to do a maximum possible and to satisfy at least a part of orders as production will descend from the conveyor every day? However, in this case it will be more difficult to company to cope with debts under orders but so I worked till now. At the same time in process of introduction of new system I could settle accounts with the debts gradually.
