Look at that occurs round you. Newspapers dazzle with stories (one more sensationally another) about unethical acts behind which cost billions dollars, — in the share market, in a banking, in the Ministry of Defence and so on. The persons who have been got mixed up in similar stories, — not simply separately taken high-ranking officials and managing directors: threads from them last «on places», to brokers under the real estate, family firms of subcontractors and to bureaucrats of an average rank.Other problem of ethical character is connected with modern technological achievements. Computer and telecommunication systems facilitate lightning transfer of outwardly harmless information which, however, is capable to cause a multi-billion damage. And by means of usual office copier and a small bottle with a correcting liquid it is possible to "correct" the recipe, the letter or the resume. Apparently, any technical novelty opens new possibilities for distribution of unethical acts.
If to add to all to it that fact that the kind of work gradually becomes complicated, and the labour becomes more and more various as a result before each of us there will be new ethical dilemmas. We take, for example, job of pregnant women on computer terminals. There is a number of certificates in favour of that radiation let out by computers can lead to abortions or diseases at a fruit. But while definitive conclusion on this question it is not made, properly to arrive with the pregnant woman who is responsible for data input in the computer: whether it is necessary to release it from job, to translate to other post, to force it to work on the terminal still; and can be, she should leave work? And in the same way, whether it is necessary the safety rule to print in Spanish, Korean and other languages that they were clear to all workers? And whether it is necessary to force to tell all on own fear and risk on the native language? Still back when among working in America the English-speaking men prevailed, similar problems it was not necessary to solve quarter of the century.
