The following article is about the meaning of the user in the world of computers. What rights he is given and how should he use the services and the facilities provided to him by the computer administrators is described here. The user should take care of the others around him in the computer world and must not disturb themIn the world of computers, the user is any person who is actually using the computers or the services that are provided by the computer such as the ones that you find through the internet etc. This person should be very careful while using these services and must be very considerate so as not to create disturbance or problems for the other people who are also using the services and facilities of the computers. When people are using the services of the internet then they can do so for example, the email etc with the help of the user accounts which provides them with a mean to communicate and to connect with other users that are present in the computer world. The user must take care of the other users who are using the services and if he is in a shared network then must make use of the resources that are allocated to him. He must not try to enter into the accounts of others users and should not become a cause of threat or inconvenience for others around him.
Before logging into the system or any network, it is required that the user must authenticate himself which can be only done with the help of the username and the password which is given to him by the server which he is using. The username will serve as the unique identity of the person over the internet and can be a source of his recognition for others that are also present in the world of computers. When you are using the computers in a network then you must prove yourself to be among the good users and should use the resources in a good manner.
It is not necessary for a user to have a complete knowledge of the system which he is currently using. He can also be the lay man who is wishing to learn about the computer and the system he is using. He can also be an expert and might have all the information about the systems and the networks he is currently using. There are different kinds of users and they are characterized according to the level of their skills.
